THE SHAKING OF HEAVENS, THE EARTH, AND ALL OF THE NATIONS!
|
"For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and
the sea, and the dry land;
And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith
the LORD of hosts." (Haggai 2:6-7"
There can be no doubt that God has just about reached the limits of his patience and longsuffering, and is
about to send his Son Jesus to put an end to the madness and foolishness of mankind. Jesus is coming to
claim his rightful inheritance:
"I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy
possession." (Psalms 2:7-8)
First, the shaking of the heavens: Gigantic comets have been crashing into the planet Jupiter, and the Sun
since 1997. The sun has been walloping the entire solar system, including the earth, with massive outbursts
of radiation, disrupting communications, our power grids, and our sattelite systems.
Second, the shaking of the earth, the sea, and the dry land. On Christmas day, 2004, the most spectacular
tsunami in history claimed the lives of 250,000 people in 12 nations around the Indian Ocean. It was
triggered by a magnitude 9.1 earthquake which devastated Indonesia. And then there was the massive
earthquake and accompanying tsunamis which devastated Japan, and caused the meltdown at the
Fukushima nuclear plant, the effects of which are still being felt this very day.
Furthermore, massive earthquakes have devastated Haiti, Chile, and New Zealand, causing untold
thousands of deaths, and ruining the infrastructures of those areas. Christchurch, New Zealand has not yet
recovered from the effects of three major earthquakes. The city still remains in shambles.
Bangkok, Thailand, and the Philippine island of Mindanao have been inundated with floods that have lasted
for months and months. The end is not yet in sight.
Third, the shaking of the nations. This ought to be only to obvious even to the casual observer of world
events. The governments of Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya have fallen; all of the nations of the Arab Peninsula
are in a state of civil war, and their respective governments are in the last throes of death. Syria is utterly
doomed, and so is Iran. The Israelis have been assassinating Iranian scientists, and bombing their
infrastructure, with the aid of the American CIA. It's only a matter of a few months until open warfare breaks
out between Israel, the USA, and Iran. Iraq and Afghanistan are already toast.
Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Hungary are bankrupt; The entire European Union is on the verge of
complete financial collapse, and everyone is looking to Germany to bail them out --- Only Germany has its
hands full just trying to keep itself afloat in the sea of debt.
In America, we have a government that has proven itself to be totally incompetent. Over thirty million
Americans are unemployed, and many have lost their homes. The housing market is at an all-time low, and
inflation has risen to unprecedented levels. Food prices are skyrocketing, and the entire West Coast is in a
state of terrible draught, with no end in sight. It now takes a family of four nearly $20,000 per year just to put
adequate food on the table. Housing foreclosures are at a level never believed possible, and entire cities
are bankrupt. Our cities have become jungles, and murder-suicides are at an all-time high. Huge segments
of our society have despaired of life, and have given up. They either turn to crime, or they commit suicide,
often taking their entire families with them.
There is only one message for America: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" (Matthew 4:17)
